Prevailing Prayer by David Weber

I’m getting the sense lately that quite a few of us are in a quiet time before a great release, a time for resting (in the Father’s Presence) and LISTENING, and for being DELIVERED from acting out in self will. In line with this, here’s a word about prevailing prayer…The Substance

Beloved, Jesus commands us to BELIEVE that we “have received” the things that we pray for at the time that we pray. My personal experience with this is that there is often an INNER KNOWING of receiving what is prayed for when praying, this even before THE SUBSTANCE of the prayer takes on its VISIBLE form. I guess you could say that when we bear witness to the Spirit in prayer, what we ask for EXISTS in two forms; first, in an invisible form, and then afterward, in a visible form.

Along these lines, do you remember “the ten lepers”? Well, each one of them had their healing in its INVISIBLE FORM while they were on their way to show the priest their healing in its VISIBLE and material form. Do you remember when Jesus said at the raising of Lazarus, “I thank Thee (Father) that Thou hast heard Me”? Well, this too shows us that Lazarus’ resurrection was complete in the faith realm BEFORE it was seen in the natural.

Beloved, most of us believe that faith can move mountains. The fact that faith is “the substance of what we pray for, the evidence not yet seen” PROVES that we FIRST receive what we ask for in its invisible form, then the Father changes it (whatever “it” is) into its visible or manifested form. ALL ACTS OF FAITH ARE IN THE REALM OF THE UNSEEN, beloved. Believing that we have received what we pray for at the time that we pray for it IS the confidence (the faith) that moves mountains.

In a nutshell…

Faith-filled prayer is thanking God from the heart for that which (though prayed for) has not yet manifested. It is a matter of BEING SURE that the invisible phase of the witness (of Spirit) is done, and in this way ALSO SURE of the visible phase just as if it were already manifested.

It is a dynamic of the Spirit realm (network/grid) to respond to faith, beloved. It’s not easy to find this kind of faith on earth though. When Jesus cursed the fig tree and the disciples had questions, Jesus did not talk to them about doing such things because of “faith in God” (bad translation) but because of God-like (unwavering) faith. Big difference. In the light of all of this, take a look at this passage of Scripture from the book of Mark…

“Have faith in God (God-like faith),” Jesus answered. Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Now, does that not confirm what I have been sharing with you here?
